Born in 1968 in Dingshu Town, Yixing, Jiangsu Province, Zhou Qindi entered the Yixing Zisha Craft Factory in 1983. She studied under Jiangsu Provincial Master of Arts and Crafts Mr. Hu Yongcheng and Jiangsu Provincial Ceramic Art Master Mr. Jiang Jianxiang, specialising in the creation and design of Zisha pottery. Later, she became a disciple of Chinese Master of Arts and Crafts Mr. Bao Zhiqiang (artist name: Yueren). She excels in form design and the creation of Zisha teapots, with particular strength in sculptural pieces and huahuo (teapots decorated with floral and natural motifs). Her concepts are fresh and original, her shapes display an understated elegance and generous spirit, her craftsmanship is exquisite, and her pieces unite both charm and grace, reflecting a high level of cultural refinement.

From 2001 to 2015, her works won gold awards every year at the China (National) Masters of Arts and Crafts Fine Works Exposition. They also garnered gold awards at events organised by the Korean Ceramic Culture Association in collaboration with the Jiangsu Provincial Arts and Crafts Association, the China International Tea Industry Investment Exhibition, the “Yibo Cup”, and the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Art Exhibition held in Abu Dhabi, Dubai. Her works have been permanently collected by many art institutions and private collectors, including the Ziguangge (Hall of Purple Light) in Zhongnanhai, the Capital Museum, Tianjin Museum, Jilin Provincial Museum, the Korean Ceramic Culture Museum, Stockholm University in Sweden, and the National Museum of China. She has been invited many times to Dubai, South Korea, Sweden and elsewhere for ceramic art exchanges.
