Lao Zhuni clay is prized for its glossy, warm reddish appearance. When fired at high temperatures, it undergoes considerable shrinkage. Denser and tighter than other Yixing clays, it excels at preserving and concentrating tea fragrance, which makes it a perfect match for teas with pronounced aromatic profiles.

This particular teapot was conceived specifically for brewing Chinese teas. It is fashioned from aged (lao) Zhuni clay, whose fine grain and high compactness help unlock the full bouquet of the leaves. The spout delivers an exceptionally swift pour, a feature that curbs bitterness and accentuates the signature hui gan, that enduring, pleasant sweetness that lingers after each sip.

Question: What kind of tea is best suited for this teapot?
