Biography
Born in 1966, Xie Qiang studied at South China University of Technology and Nanjing University of the Arts, earning a Bachelor’s degree. He began his artistic career in 1985 and later apprenticed under Master Bao Zhiqiang, a renowned Chinese Arts and Crafts Master. Throughout his career, Xie has focused on innovative design, obtaining 1 utility model patent and 22 design patents.

"Adding Wings to a Tiger" (如虎添翼) Zisha Teapot – Selected for exhibition at the Jiangsu Pavilion of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo.

"Ode to Elegance" (风雅颂) Tea Ceremony • Incense • Flower Art Set – Inspired by Chinese civilization and cheongsam (qipao) culture, this work won the Judges' Grand Prize at the 2016 Wuxi Cultural & Creative Competition.
