Born in 1966 in Yixing, Jiangsu, Li Qun(李群)began his career in 1982. He studied pottery carving under the guidance of the Chinese Master of Arts and Crafts, Xu Xiutang.
Born in 1966 into a family of potters in Yixing, Gu Meiqun (顾美群) began her apprenticeship under her mother in 1982. She later studied under Wu Ming, a renowned Chinese ceramic art master.
Born in 1965 into a family of pottery artisans in Yixing, Wu Shuying(吴淑英)graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Nanjing Normal University. Then she began her career at the Dingshu Purple Clay Craft Factory (zisha factory No.1).
Born in 1965 in Dingshu Town, Yixing, Jiangsu Province, Xu Yanchun (许艳春) graduated from Nanjing University of the Arts in 1989. She is currently based at the Yixing Zisha Pottery Factory #1
