In 2012, he founded the Yixing Ribbed Ware Purple Sand Art Center, which serves as a demonstration base for the inheritance of Yixing intangible cultural heritage, and registered the trademark "Jin Rang."
Born in Yixing in 1957, Shen （沈建强）began apprenticing under his parents, Shen Xiaohu （沈孝虎） and Fan Yunfang （范云芳）, in 1981. He is dedicated to the 传承, creation, innovation, and education of purple sand ribbed ware. His works cover a wide range of themes, each carrying its own distinctive charm and attracting considerable attention. With a freehand approach and imaginative concepts, his art breaks conventions, keeps pace with the times, and is rich in creativity and contemporary resonance.
