Born in 1955 in the "Purple Clay Village" of Dingshu Town, Yixing, Shao Shunsheng (邵顺生)began his apprenticeship in 1995 under the guidance of Gu Shaopei, a renowned master of Arts and crafts in China. He has comprehensively mastered the various categories and schools of Yixing zisha art. Building upon a deep respect for tradition, he boldly innovates, imbuing his works with "a robust, masculine vigor and a profound, monumental presence." This has led to the development of his distinctive artistic style.

He has created numerous artistic masterpieces rich in cultural depth and technical sophistication, consistently receiving top awards at major artistic competitions. Professionals and experts often acclaim his works as "classic art within a teapot." Over 50 of his designs hold national patents, more than 40 have been awarded gold or silver prizes, and over 10 pieces are housed in international, national, provincial, and municipal museums.

His contributions have been widely recognized: in 2010, he was appointed an "Ambassador for Peace and Love" by UNICEF and the China Association for the Promotion of Children's Culture. He received the Wuxi City May 1st Labor Medal (2010), the Jiangsu Province May 1st Labor Medal (2012), and the National May 1st Labor Medal (2013). In 2014, he founded the Yixing Shao Shunsheng Zisha Art Museum. The museum was rated as a Jiangsu Province AAAAA (5A) Advanced Unit for Quality, Service, and Creditworthiness in 2015, and in 2016, it was honored as one of the National Top Ten Trustworthy and Credible Enterprises in the Zisha Art Industry.
