Born in 1966 in Yixing, Jiangsu, Li Qun(李群)began his career in 1982. He studied pottery carving under the guidance of the Chinese Master of Arts and Crafts, Xu Xiutang, while deeply inheriting the family tradition of strict mentorship from his father, the Chinese Master of Arts and Crafts Li Changhong, and his mother, Jiangsu Master of Arts and Crafts Shen Luhua. Specializing in the creative design and craftsmanship of Zisha pottery, his works are rich in cultural depth, meticulous in execution, and reflect a scholarly style that emphasizes literary elegance.

In 2005, he was honored by the China Arts and Crafts Association for upholding mentorship and promoting the传承 of craft techniques. He was recognized as an “Outstanding Young Craft Artist of China” in 2006. In 2009, he compiled and published the book "Treasures of Zisha Culture and History" and has since authored numerous professional papers and obtained several patents. His works have repeatedly received national-level awards and are held in the permanent collections of many museums.
