Cao Yalin, Born in 1955 in Dingshu Town, Yixing, Jiangsu, Cao Yalin joined the Yixing Zisha Pottery Factory in 1970 and graduated in 1979 from the Design Department of the Fine Arts College at Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute.
By integrating theory with practice and studying both classical and contemporary art from around the world, he has delved deeply into the creative principles of Zisha pottery art. Through continuous exploration and innovation, he has developed a unique artistic philosophy: honoring tradition, pioneering modernity, fusing culture, and pursuing originality. His works exhibit rich artistic language, novel creativity, elegant forms, profound meaning, and refined taste, carrying a distinct modern artistic flair that sets him apart in the Zisha pottery world.
