Biography:
Born in January 1943 in Dingshu Town, Yixing, Jiangsu, He Daohong began his artistic journey under the tutelage of legendary purple clay masters Wang Yinchun and Pei Shimin. Later, he furthered his studies at the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts, refining a career spanning over five decades. His distinctive "He-Style" has left an indelible mark on the world of Zisha (purple clay) art.
Renowned for his fully handcrafted techniques and profound artistic mastery, He’s works are regarded as pinnacle achievements in contemporary Zisha craftsmanship, often commanding record-breaking prices. His portfolio encompasses:
