Born in 1963 in Yixing, Jiangsu, Yin Xiangming (尹祥明) began learning art from a young age. He started creating Zisha pottery and sculptures in 1985 under the mentorship of Mr. Xu Xiutang and later studied at the Sculpture Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

In 1998, he founded the Yixing Sun-Moon Pottery Studio.

His works have received numerous awards in national ceramic art competitions and are held in the collections of the Ministry of Culture, the National Museum of Chinese History, and the National Art Museum of Ukraine, among others. His achievements are documented in publications such as Contemporary Chinese Ceramic Artists and A Visual Record of Contemporary Chinese Artists (CD-ROM edition). Additionally, he was featured in the CCTV documentary series "Art Sky" in an episode titled "Pioneers of Contemporary Chinese Ceramic Art."
