Artist Bio:
Yuan Ziming 袁子鸣 (also known as Yuan Zhimin 袁志敏) is a national-level craft artist in China and a member of the Jiangsu Provincial Arts and Crafts Society.

He began his career in 1978 at the Jiangsu Yixing Purple Clay Pottery Factory #1, where he trained under senior craft artist Wu Qunxiang in the design and creation of purple clay teapots. He later furthered his studies under the guidance of He Daohong, a renowned master of Chinese ceramic art.
His works have received wide recognition, including:
Yishou Teapot: Awarded the Excellence Prize at the 7th National Ceramic Art Design Innovation Competition and the Gold Prize at the China East Asia Arts and Crafts Fine Arts Competition.
Yannian Teapot: Won the First Prize at the First New Talents & Works Exhibition jointly organized by the Jiangsu Arts and Crafts Association and the Yixing Ceramic Association. It also received the Bronze Prize at the inaugural China Ceramic Art Exhibition (“China Pottery Cup”) hosted by the China Light Industry Federation and the China Ceramic Industry Association, as well as the Silver Prize in the 2003 Top Ten Purple Clay Teapots of China selection. This achievement was documented in the 2004 Yixing Yearbook.
Xuri Dongsheng Teapot: Awarded the Third Prize at the Yixing Ceramic Decoration Exhibition held by the Jiangsu Arts and Crafts Association and the Yixing Ceramic Association.











The artist Yuan used two difficult techniques, jiao ni and clay painting, for this work. He used zisha qing duan ni clay as the main body, and used red zhu ni clay and yellow Duan ni clay to make patterns. This method of making patterns using zisha clay of different colors is called “jiao ni” 绞泥。




























Each certificate of authenticity features an encrypted password, a unique serial number, and a QR code. It is personally signed by the artist and bears the artist's seal, as well as the art gallery's official stamp. Special paper, ink, and multiple anti-counterfeiting hidden marks are used in its production. Additionally, the certificate includes a photo of the teapot and its detailed information.
