Description
This teapot has a capacity of 150 ml. It is full handmade and full handpainted by artist Hu Jing 胡静. It is made from 100% pure original-ore （原矿 yuan kuang）Dahongpao clay from Yixing city ding shu town huang long mine. The design is entirely hand-applied as raised clay painting and fired in high-temperature kilns, so the design will not fade.
Dahongpao clay and Zhuni clay come from paragenetic mineral deposits. Dahongpao clay places higher demands on the artist’s craftsmanship and has a redder, more lustrous color. You can see it in the picture below. The red part is Dahongpao. The orange part is zhu ni.

Siyutao has obtained certification under China's National Geographical Indication system and has been officially authorized by the government to use the Yixing zisha 宜兴紫砂 geographical indication. Out of the tens of thousands of teaware merchants in Yixing, only three have been granted this distinction to date, and Siyutao is among them. (Click here to find out more about geographical indications.) This serves as solid proof that the zisha teaware sold by Siyutao is genuine Yixing ware.

Let customers speak for us
I've owned several Yixing in the same price range, and this by far is the best one. The craftsmanship is incredible - the shape is stunning, the lid fit is absolutely perfect (no drips even when pushed hard), the small ball filter results in an even pour every single time and the hole in the lid is a bit wider than average so it doesn't get clogged with water. The quality of the clay is first-rate. Also, shipping to the EU went through a proxy so I didn't have to pay import fees. All in all, I'm extremely happy with this purchase!
Good quality teacup with thin wall.
Beatiful teacup!!! Small with wrinkle surface. Excellent craftmanship!!!
Wonderful teacup
The teapot arrived safely. It is beautiful teapot!!!
Sorgfältig gearbeitetes Teekännchen, in sehr schöner Box und Teekannenhülle geliefert, Dichtetest perfekt bestanden. Macht guten Tee.
Simply stated, I love this teapot. it is an exquisite piece which adds to the mystique, mystery and romance of any tea that I may be drinking, (mostly Sheng related Puerh)...a magical little pot.
This is the second pot I've bought from Siyutao over the past few years. I saw this pot first on Facebook feed and was smitten. Couldn't get it out of my head, so I had to buy it. After two days of using it, I can say it has phenomenal quality and performance and I greatly look forward to seeing how it ages over the years. Great communication from the seller during shipping.
I am very very happy with this teapot. Better still I am loving steeping, pouring watching, smelling drinking with it.
This is a beautifully crafted teapot. It is super light and thin walled, yet stable and secure. It is the only luni teapot I own and the only half handmade luni pot that I have ever seen and, as such, is available at an incredible price. The clay crystals have an amazing look to them. The design and size at 90ml is perfect for solo gonfu and the pour is just right. If your passion is collecting and using special zisha clay pots, this one really can't be passed up.
Great Pot for my Sheng Pu Erh teas. Very delicate manufactured.
Hands down the best Yixing teapot I own (and I own a few including an authentic F1 Hongni from the 1970's)!
The craftsmanship is impeimpeccable (thin walls, tight lid fit, superb water flow, high pitch "cling" sound,. . ) and the clay quality is amazing!
I use it for floral oolongs(dancong, wuyi, bāozhòng, tie guan yin) floral black teas (Keemun, usmoked lapsang), but also for more floral and fruity Sheng Pu Erhs (Gua Feng Zhai, Yiwu, Jingmai, Bangdong,. . ) and it brews all of them to perfection (aroma & mouth feel).
I can highly recommend siyutao!
This is my second purchase from Siyutao and I can say that we are never disappointed. The teapot is really well designed and made. The clay is great, it really makes the tea better.
