Born in Yixing, Jiangsu, in 1963, Wang Fujun(王福君)joined the Yixing No. 2 Purple Sand Craft Factory in 1983 and became Director of its Training Center in 1990, mentoring many apprentices. Emphasizing tradition and excellence in teapot artistry, he has produced works such as the Qingquan, Fulin Bafang, Shuquan, Delu, Fenghua, Youquan, and Dacheng teapots, each of which has been awarded gold at seven consecutive China National Arts and Crafts Masters’ Fine Works Expos.

His creations are held by prominent institutions, including the Chinese Military Museum, the China Purple Sand Museum, the Anhui Museum, the Jilin Provincial Museum, and the Jiangxi Provincial Museum. In 1996, he spent one month in Japan at the World Fireworks Exposition and later exhibited in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His works have also been featured by various media outlets.
