This Yixing teapot is called Li Mao （笠帽）, with a minimalist, classic shape.
The capacity of this yixing teapot is 130ml.
This piece was fully handmade by teapot artist Jun Li 李俊 with yixing zisha ben shan zhu ni clay.
This Ben shan zhu ni clay 本山朱泥，come from Huang long mine 4, Dingshu Town, Yixing city. 100% Natural Ore.
Here’s a magnified view of the teapot’s surface, where you can clearly spot the natural minerals present in the Benshan Zhuni clay: mica, quartz, and iron particles.

This is a beautifully crafted teapot. It is super light and thin walled, yet stable and secure. It is the only luni teapot I own and the only half handmade luni pot that I have ever seen and, as such, is available at an incredible price. The clay crystals have an amazing look to them. The design and size at 90ml is perfect for solo gonfu and the pour is just right. If your passion is collecting and using special zisha clay pots, this one really can't be passed up.

The craftsmanship is impeimpeccable (thin walls, tight lid fit, superb water flow, high pitch "cling" sound,. . ) and the clay quality is amazing!
I use it for floral oolongs(dancong, wuyi, bāozhòng, tie guan yin) floral black teas (Keemun, usmoked lapsang), but also for more floral and fruity Sheng Pu Erhs (Gua Feng Zhai, Yiwu, Jingmai, Bangdong,. . ) and it brews all of them to perfection (aroma & mouth feel).
