Material: yixing zisha zhu ni, purple clay directly from Yixing City, Ding Shu town, authentic yixing clay.

Zhuni teapots are known for their glossy, red hue. When fired at high temperatures in the kiln, the clay shrinks substantially. Denser than other types of clay, Zhuni is more effective at locking in tea fragrance. For this reason, Zhuni teapots are the perfect choice for highly aromatic teas.
