Description

This Yixing zisha teapot is called You De 有德, and it is fully handcrafted by Lu Yuxin 吕玉新, a Chinese national‑level master of arts and crafts 中国国家级工艺美术师.

The capacity of this yixing zisha teapot is 218ml. Suitable for teapot collectors and for use during two-person gongfu tea sessions.

This teapot is made from food-safe-grade raw materials from siyutao : authentic yuan kuang Dicaoqing clay from Huanglongshan No. 4 Mine, with Duanni sand spread on the surface.

The spreading of Duanni sand creates a brilliant, starry-sky-like effect on the teapot’s surface. This handcrafting technique is extremely difficult: the artist must not only arrange the sand distribution properly, but also tackle the even more challenging mingzhen 明针 technique, which gives the teapot surface a glossy finish.
