This teapot is like a humble gentleman bowing in greeting, its center of gravity low, as if rooted firmly in the earth like an ancient pine.
Its shape is not clumsy or heavy, but rather full and rounded, with energy held inward—like a drawn bow, ready but not yet released. The spout resembles a small inkstone pool, open and wide, honest and generous, holding tea and water with natural grace.
It avoids the deep, narrow feel of some teapots, giving the tea ceremony a bright, airy rhythm—you can see the leaves dance when adding tea, watch the waves rise when pouring water, and the steam disperses easily, never lingering or trapping bitterness.

This is a beautifully crafted teapot. It is super light and thin walled, yet stable and secure. It is the only luni teapot I own and the only half handmade luni pot that I have ever seen and, as such, is available at an incredible price. The clay crystals have an amazing look to them. The design and size at 90ml is perfect for solo gonfu and the pour is just right. If your passion is collecting and using special zisha clay pots, this one really can't be passed up.

The craftsmanship is impeimpeccable (thin walls, tight lid fit, superb water flow, high pitch "cling" sound,. . ) and the clay quality is amazing!
I use it for floral oolongs(dancong, wuyi, bāozhòng, tie guan yin) floral black teas (Keemun, usmoked lapsang), but also for more floral and fruity Sheng Pu Erhs (Gua Feng Zhai, Yiwu, Jingmai, Bangdong,. . ) and it brews all of them to perfection (aroma & mouth feel).
