Education & Artistic Path
Born in the 1970s, Zhu Dan is a guardian of traditional Yixing purple sand artistry. She graduated from Nanjing Normal University in 2013. Devoted to age, old handmade purple sand techniques, she insists on full handcrafted production in the classical manner. At the age of thirty, she founded the “Zhuhu Danxin Purple Sand Art Museum” to promote the inheritance and development of purple sand art.

Artistic Style
Her works are rooted in tradition yet imbued with creative ideas. She skillfully blends Chinese cultural elements with modern forms, achieving a naturally harmonious integration. Her distinctive designs are simple but profound, rustic yet elegant,both practical for daily use and highly collectible. Her strong shaping ability and deep cultural resonance have won admiration from artists at home and abroad, with many original pieces created through exchanges with international peers.
